The Delaware & Hudson, one of the longest running US railroads under its original ownership. From its debut in the 1800's, to its purchase by Guilford Transportation in the 1980's, and then by the Canadian Pacific Railway in the 1990's; the D&H has remained one of the favorite US railroads of all time.

The D&H Bridge Line route covers elements of the former D&H Susquehanna Subdivision from Mechanicville NY to Oneonta NY. There are several junctions and interchanges along the line, including a strong presence of the Boston & Maine Railroad. Covering approximately 100 miles of railroad, The Bridge Line travels through the lush farmland of Upstate New York, on the northern tip of the Catskill Mountains.

It may not be the rugged mountains of western North America, but do not be fooled, as there are plenty of heavy grades to negotiate in both directions. A unique blend of EMD and ALCO locomotive power, combined with a variety of mainline and switching operations, makes this one expansion pack which is sure to please everyone.
