One of America's more famous rail crossings, Sandpatch presents exciting challenges for all. As the engineer of a number of different freight trains, it will be your job to pull massive loads of coal, autos, piggybacks, and general merchandise over the Allegheny Mountains. If heavy freights aren't your thing, there are plenty switching opportunities available as well.
Based on the Baltimore & Ohio's history line, Sandpatch covers a distance of over 50 miles of mainline track between Cumberland, Maryland, and Rockwood, Pennsylvania. Included with the mainline are numerous spurs, interchanges, and branchlines which make for exciting switching and way freight operations.
